For 2010, we've expanded our lecture offerings yet again, DOUBLING the amount of clinical lectures in both respiratory care and sleep medicine over all previous conferences.

In fact, there will be over 70 lectures and 4 early-bird breakfast workshops that will impart the very latest information in Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal Respiratory Care, as well as in Clinical Sleep Medicine, The Business of Sleep, Management, Patient Education, Pulmonary Function Testing, Homecare and more - a well-rounded agenda with something for everyone. All lectures will be presented by the country’s top pulmonary and sleep MD’s, and by Masters and PhD prepared Therapists and Sleep Technologists.

The 10th Anniversary FOCUS Conference will provide fun and entertainment the likes of which have never been seen at a medical conference. The fun begins the night before the conference with our concert/dance featuring the world's most famous Beach Boys tribute band - The Landsharks - who have actually played with, and opened for, the real Beach Boys as well as Jimmy Buffett, himself. The Landsharks are an eight piece band complete with horn section, and an incredible steel drum player. Enjoy a trip back to the 60's/70's via this incredible show complete with cash bars, dance contests with prizes and of course, the hits you've been singing all of your life. It all takes place at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort Hotel the night before the conference begins and is free for all registered attendees and their families.

We'll also be holding our second 5-K Run/Walk for adults, in addition to a children's .75 mile run (for children ages 8-12) on Thursday morning, May 13th. Both of these races were a lot of fun last year (with over 200 participants), with every participant receiving a t-shirt and adults and children winning numerous prizes.

Our exhibit hall will feature 160+ medical companies and recruiters and will be a "festival" in and of itself with caricature artists, live music, roving impersonators, two incredible receptions with free Hors D'oeuvres, free beer and wine and phenomenal door prizes including a chance to win a 2010 Ford Focus automobile or $10,000 cash - your choice.

Then, join us Friday, May 14th for a hilarous evening of comedy featuring the Nurse-Anesthetist musical group The Laryngospasms, followed by the stand-up comedy of "Rodney Dangerfield" and "Joan Rivers" - A special night that is included in everyone's registration fee.
