Focus-Hosted Cocktail party for Managers and Educators
5:30pm – 7:30pm

 

Don't miss Focus's 3rd Annual Managers and Educators Mini-Conference taking place May 9th from 1PM – 5:30pm, the afternoon before the start of the regular, 12th Annual Focus Conference. It's free and you will enjoy earning an additional 4 ceus and a wonderful cocktail party for both yourself and your significant-other following the mini-conference, compliments of FOCUS Conferences, Inc. (Professional business card showing status as a manager or educator will be collected and is required for admission to lectures and the cocktail party - please bring a minimum of two business cards).
Both business cards will be entered into a drawing to win an Apple I-Pad 2 at the cocktail party. Must be present to win.

 

 

An Evening to Explore Nashville

 

 

One of the positive "complaints" about the FOCUS conference has been that we provide so much entertainment each night, that attendees don't
always have an opportunity to fully explore the city they're visiting. This year, then, we are not scheduling any entertainment functions
on the night before the conference (Wednesday night, May 9th, 2012.   Visit the Nashville website (see button above) to check out
the many things to do in this amazing city !!! Attendees staying at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel also get to enjoy the hotel's free shuttle bus service
to such Nashville attractions as the famous Wild Horse Saloon in the center of the city. 

 

 

 

THURSDAY – MAY 10, 2012 

 

 

4th Annual FOCUS 5-K Fun Run/Walk – 7am - 8:15am

Sponsored by Roche Diagnostics

 

Focus will be holding a 5-K run/walk immediately outside the entrance of the Gaylord Opryland Resort on the morning of May 10th, 2012 for interested registered attendees and their registered significant-others age 18 or over. The race will be professionally conducted. There will be a 1st place ($100), 2nd place ($50) and 3rd place ($25) prize awarded in both categories, that is, for runners and for walkers and also separately, for men and women (12 prizes in total). All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt as well. You must pre-register for the race on the conference registration form and also provide your t-shirt size.  (Due to insurance considerations there will be no children’s race).

 

 

 

Opening Exhibit Hall Reception  5pm – 7:30pm

Grand Ole Opry Show     8pm – 11pm

 

What a way to visit this American institution. FOCUS has procured the entire Grand Ole Opry Music Hall for a private variety show featuring country, southern rock, bluegrass and comedy. It's an evening you won't want to miss, and this year, not only is your ticket included in your registration fee, but Focus is allowing all registered attendees to bring their family members - free of charge !

Closing Exhibit Hall Reception 5pm – 8pm

Tonight's the night you definitely don't want to miss ! We’ll start our evening with a second fabulous reception
in the exhibit hall where again, there will be plenty of free Hors D'Oeuvres, beer, wine and soft drinks. Then, at 8:00pm,
we'll pick the grand prize winner of the 2012 Ford Focus (or $10,000 cash).
